Letter of Condolence from the Church in Chicago

Our dear brother Paul Wu,

We join all the saints in expressing our thanks to the Lord for the steadfast pattern of this member of the Body.

Some of we older brothers appreciated our times together at the coworker’s meetings and of being shepherded by him when taking hospitality in Hall 1, Taipei. More recently in 2018 he visited Chicago and extended his stay to attend the Memorial meeting for Jim Reetzke his fellow slave in the Lord. This was such a comfort to the saints.

While saddened by our brother’s departure to be with the Lord, brother Paul’s time with us over the years is and will be a long-lasting encouragement to pursue the Lord and press on as His slaves.

Our brother surely has been greeted by his Master with, Matthew 25:21,”well done good and faithful slave. You were faithful over a few * things, I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your master “.

For the saints in Chicago:

Bill Barker, John Kan, Marty Robert, Livingstone Song, Jim Reetzke Sr. (with the Lord)

*by our observation, we would say “Many”.
