This morning we heard that our beloved brother, Paul Wu, rested in the arms of the Lord. It was so painful and heart-breaking to hear that. We are very saddened to send him away while there are still many works for us to do together.
In His eternal economy, God had His beloved servants, especially Watchman Nee and Witness Lee, run before us for the Lord’s recovery. Brother Wu was a loyal servant of the Lord who closely followed the ministry and followed the path of faith in this age. We believe that Brother Wu’s lifelong consecration and labor will be planted as a grain of wheat in the churches in Taiwan and Korea, bringing abundant fruit to the future of the Lord’s recovery.
In consideration of the weight he had in the Lord’s recovery and churches over the whole earth, we believe that he was a great star and rested in the arms of the Lord, leaving a beautiful example. In LMA, Taiwan Gospel Book Room, and the Lord’s work all over the earth, he served the Lord faithfully bearing responsibilities with the blended coworkers not only in the United States but also in the whole world.
Brother Wu usually cared about the Lord’s work and the saints one by one with a delicate and broad heart. We can’t forget that he remembered and loved and cared for the churches and the serving ones in South Korea one by one. In particular, the days that he visited and went through difficult times with the churches in Daejeon, Daegu, Gwangju, and other churches in Korea will be remembered for a long time.
We, the coworkers and churches in Korea, will also run faithfully in the race of faith before us, remembering his footsteps. As prophesied by the Lord’s servant, Brother Witness Lee, Taiwan and Korea will become two wings, bringing new revival to the Lord’s recovery over the earth, ending this age and bringing in the kingdom age. At that time, we also desire to be with the Lord by entering into the kingdom with brother Wu and other servants of the Lord.
We pray that the Lord will comfort and strengthen the bereaved families and the churches (saints) in Taiwan. May the Lord be with all the funeral proceedings!
Dear Brother Wu!
We remember vividly how you cared for the saints and the churches delicately and faithfully in love. Brother Wu! We send you first to the Lord. Rest comfortably in the Lord with the brothers who had run before you and whom you had longed for. The rest of us will follow your footsteps. It was so good to be with you. Thank you. We love you.
