To the churches in the Lord’s recovery and the saints in Christ:

Our dear Brother Paul Wu—a faithful and prudent slave in the house of God—having fought the good fight, finished the course, and kept the faith, rested from his labor and fell asleep in Christ early Thursday morning, March 5, now awaiting the reward in resurrection.

A meeting in remembrance of Brother Paul Wu will be held at the conference hall of the Hsin Ji Building (B2, No. 460, Sec. 4, Xinyi Road, Taipei) from 10 am to 12 pm on Saturday, March 14. In accordance with the preventive measures against the recent coronavirus infection*, we are compelled to limit the number of attendees by issuing invitations. Admissions will be granted by invitations only. Your understanding is greatly appreciated. The entire meeting will be live-streamed for the saints who cannot be present.

Brother Paul Wu will be buried at Grace Terrace in Rose Hills Memorial Park, California, USA. Details of his burial will be disclosed upon further fellowship.

Follow-up fellowships will be posted at https://brotherwu.org. The good works that the Lord has done in the saints through Brother Paul Wu are too numerous to recount. Whoever is burdened to submit testimonies in the form of articles, photos, or videos for consolation and encouragement to all the saints, please feel free to do so at the above website. May our brother’s pattern of laboring and striving diligently and magnifying Christ inspire us all to charge forward with one accord in the Body of Christ for the Lord’s interests on earth that His economy may soon be fulfilled.

Respectfully,

Brother Paul Wu’s Memorial Meeting:

Preventive Measures against Coronavirus Infection

All attendees of the memorial meeting should comply with the following preventive measures. Attendance of the meeting is strictly by invitation. Those who have not received an invitation would not be admitted.

Dear brothers and sisters in the Lord,

In view of the spreading of COVID-19 infection, the following preventive measures will be enforced according to the guidelines issued by the Central Epidemic Control Center:

  1. Before attending the meeting, every attendee should submit an online reply to the invitation (through the link indicated by the QR code on the invitation card) so that a record will be kept of the name, ID number, telephone number, and address of every attendee. Every attendee should also submit a report concerning his/her travel history, contact history, and health condition. Anyone who has recently travelled to areas where the disease is known to be spreading, or has contacted someone who has contracted the coronavirus, or has symptoms of respiratory illness should stay at home and should NOT attend the meeting.
  2. Air-conditioning in the meeting hall will be operated at an increased air exchange rate. The fire exhaust mode will be activated once every thirty minutes so that good ventilation will be guaranteed.
  3. Seats are arranged to be 1 meter apart from each other. Every attendee is limited to one designated seat and should follow strict directions of the ushers.
  4. The duration of the meeting will be two hours.
  5. Before the meeting, the meeting hall and all adjacent public areas will be disinfected with 1% bleach solution. Every chair will be disinfected with 75% alcohol.
  6. Infrared thermal cameras are set up at the entrances. Please enter the hall through the infrared control points. Anyone whose temperature is detected to be above 37.2 degrees Celsius will NOT be admitted.
  7. While entering the hall, please walk slowly through the disinfecting carpet area so that viruses and germs attached to the soles of your shoes will not be brought into the meeting area.
  8. Please wear a face mask throughout the course of the meeting. Sanitize your hands with alcohol spray before entering the hall. Face masks and alcohol spray will be available at the entrances.
  9. After the meeting, the meeting hall and adjoining facilities will be thoroughly sanitized

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by such preventive measures, which are necessary in order to safeguard the health of all attendees. Please pray that the Lord will cover every aspect of the meeting for His own interest.

Respectfully,

Responsible brothers of the church in Taipei
