To the Elders, Co-workers and Responsible Brothers of the Churches in Taiwan

We are extremely saddened to learn that our Brother Paul Wu has been received by the Lord.  Our hearts are filled with gratitude that the grace and blessings the churches in East Malaysia have today is part of his labour, sacrifice and shepherding.

Looking back,  Brother Paul Wu, along with Brother Livingstone Lee and Brother Samuel Liu began their pioneer trip to churches in East Malaysia at the beginning of March 1990.   At that time the churches in East Malaysia were still newborn babes spiritually.  We lacked the knowledge and revelation concerning the leading of the ministry of the age and the vision of the Body of Christ. Each church only cared for their own and were distinct from the others.

Thank the Lord ! Brother Paul Wu and the brothers’ ice-breaking trip led brother Witness Lee, a slave of the Lord to pay a historic visit to Malaysia in October 1990, bringing in the riches of the ministry, the vision of the body and the flow of the Holy Spirit to the churches in Malaysia.  Brother Lee’s monumental visit became the biggest turning point in the grace received by the churches in East Malaysia. Since then for the past thirty-two years, under the arrangement of Bro Wu, the Taiwanese co-workers including himself, have never stopped coming in batches to support, supply, strengthen, uplift and perfect the churches in East Malaysia so that the churches would grow and be strengthened  in life and in its measure in the Body of Christ. With Brother Wu’s serving and his arrangement, the churches in East Malaysia were able to follow the leading of the ministry closely, to give themselves to the one flow of the Lord’s recovery, having part of the fellowship and move of the Body of Christ.

Brother Wu accompanied the churches in East Malaysia in their growth. Over the past thirty-two years, his concern, care and shepherding for us have brought us grace and blessings. We are really thankful in our hearts and grateful in our spirit.

Brother Wu, a beloved and respected elderly brother, has now ceased from his earthly labours to be with the Lord whom he loves.  At this point, we feel deeply sorrowful. Our beloved Brother Wu, now resting in the bosom of the Lord, has left behind a sweet fragrance and  the fruits of his life’s work for the Lord, part of which was his labour for the East Malaysian churches. May the Lord greatly reward Brother Wu in that day, and may the Lord  richly care and bless Brother Wu’s family. Amen!
