To all the lovers of our Lord Jesus whose life and pursuit of Christ has been influenced by the life and labor of our dear brother Paul Wu, we serving in Europe feel compelled to offer our collective testimony of appreciation and gratitude for our brother.
Especially those of us serving in the United Kingdom, France, Spain and Germany, know first-hand how his burden and sacrifice for the Lord’s move in these countries in recent years made a great difference in what the Lord has been able to accomplish here.
France:
In memory of Brother Paul Wu—faithful unto death in serving the Ministry
Brother Wu deeply knew Brother Lee’s burden for the whole earth, in which he felt sorry for the Lord’s recovery not having being rooted in Europe. Therefore, he desperately sought to make the churches in Taiwan coordinate with the churches in the West.
From 1977 to 2000, a big group of saints were sent out to join the propagation of many countries of the Eastern Europe. It really touched me that before they went abroad, they had fellowship with our Brother Wu, during which he cared about everyone’s life and family members. He indeed had each one of them on his heart.
Brother Wu always gave full support in every way to the Lord’s needs and move today, such as —-the need of a training center in London; propagation of His testimony in France; the gospel move and the spreading of Lord’s testimony in Germany through the tide of refugees; purchasing of a good land named Gut Elim in central Germany ; cultivating the habit of pursuing ministry books for Chinese-speaking saints. ⋯⋯etc. He even cared nothing about his own life and visited Europe with fellow coworkers city by city several times so that he could explore and work with the Holy Spirit further.
Concerning Brother Wu’s last public fellowship before his departure, he as usual encouraged young people to answer the Lord’s calling to go throughout the entire world. At that time when Witness Lee dreamt that there will be 500,000 young people raised up in Taiwan to be sent to knock the doors for preaching the gospel throughout the entire world to welcome the Lord’s coming back , Brother Wu was the one who always carry out his dream.
He was just like Epaphroditus in Philippines 2 recommended by Apostle Paul himself. “⋯⋯He is not only one of his co-workers, but also Apostle Paul’s brother, fellow worker, fellow soldier, and your apostle, and a minster to the apostle’s need. ⋯⋯Because for the work of Christ he draw near unto death, risking his life, that he might fill up your lack of service toward me .” indeed he never stop giving his very best even unto death . We all miss him and like to follow his pattern of being faithful unto death!

Germany:
The Lord’s move in Germany has been supported in many ways by saints and churches all over the world, but the beginning of the Lord’s current move here could easily be traced to Taiwan and brother Wu’s strong burden and word to a generation of young saints to sacrifice their own plans and desires to become a part of the Lord’s move in Europe, and specifically Germany. Many came from Taiwan several years before the saints began to immigrate from North America. They enrolled in graduate programs in top universities all over Germany, and some took jobs and began to raise their families here. But all were motivated by a heart for the spread of the Lord’s testimony in this land that was greatly encouraged by our brother Wu. These ones helped lay a strong foundation for what would follow. In many places, the coming of a large number of saints from 2016 – 19, was made much easier and more productive by the presence and sacrifice of these dear saints.
Since the wave of migration from both the East and West since 2016, there has been the additional support of trainees, serving saints, and even coworkers coming from Taiwan to blend and labor side-by-side with the ones from the West. Brother Wu strongly encouraged this blending, and learning to serve in one accord, following the pattern that was established during the Lord’s move in Russia 25 years before. We brothers in Germany feel that much of the Lord’s blessing on the labor in Germany over the past 3 years has been the result of this blended, and very sweet labor in oneness.
We also are deeply grateful for all the financial support that has flowed to Germany from Taiwan. Properties have been purchased or rented for the purpose of supporting the Lord’s move, and many workers have been supported. This has been a great supply to the work and also a tremendous pattern for the younger ones among us. How our hearts have been lifted again and again by this supply.
We will miss our brother greatly, a true bond-slave of Christ. May the Lord comfort his family and all the saints in the Far East, and may many more such given brothers be raised up to sustain and strengthen the Lord’s work and move on the whole earth that He may quickly come again.

Spain:
We received the note regarding the passing our dear brother Wu early this week and felt from the Lord to send this note to you all.
On the one hand on a human level we, with you all, mourn the passing of our esteemed brother and will miss his presence, on the other hand we rejoice inwardly that through the Lord’s grace our brother ran his course faithfully to the end.
We remain grateful to the Lord for our brother’s pattern in faith, love, healthy teaching and steadfastness.
We here in Madrid, Spain, as well as the Iberian Peninsula, are witnesses of this. For a number of us here, seeing brother Wu and indeed a number of the brothers from Taiwan at the annual feasts consistently was an encouragement and strengthened our desire to pursue the blending universally and enter further into the reality of the Body of Christ.
May we all be those that follow our brother’s pattern and be those who run the race to the completion of our course as he did, in oneness with the Lord and the ministry of the age.
May the Lord bless you all and His testimony in Taiwan.

We brothers in the UK and Ireland wish to remember and honor our dear departed brother, Paul Wu. Like Brother Lee before him, Brother Paul was a “slave of Christ Jesus”. He surely was a pillar in the Lord’s Recovery. In our knowing of him, our brother demonstrated that he cared for the Lord’s interests over the whole earth. On many occasions, and in many ways, he led the churches in Taiwan in providing critical support to the Lord’s move in Europe. We are most grateful. Such support in people, finance, and prayers, has been a tremendous factor in the advance of the Lord’s move to this point. On behalf of the saints and the churches in the UK and Ireland, we express our heartfelt gratitude for the life of faithfulness that our brother lived. We also stand as one with all the precious saints in Taiwan and acknowledge their loss. May the Lord comfort our hearts, and may He fully blend us into one Body for His testimony on the earth!
